hike intelligently syncs with your phone address-book (your native contacts and not the social one's). This is to ensure that you don't have to type in the contact each time to message.

While registering if you have 'dis-allowed' hike to sync with your address book, please do so by going to your phone settings and allow hike to do so.

Then simply enjoy hiking with your loved ones!! :)
