Connectivity issue

Please help me I used to have the app for many years But in last months The app didnt work at all So I deleted it and then downloaded it again Then when i set up my DP and my name the app keep telling me ( connectivity issue there was a problem setting up your name please try again later) I try alot of time but nothing happend Please help me
